    Sweet Innocence

On a cold night in November.
You saw her eyes and her smile, It was a night to remember.
Other things didn’t matter at that time.
    Didn’t matter at that time.

you watched her play with a candle.
There was a moment, you were scared but it was nothing you couldn’t handle.
you broke the rules and you shared your moment.
    Yeah, you shared your moment.

'cause you knew right then,  you would see her again
With open hearts, you’ll find her there.
But do you know, Where you wanna go tonight.

As you walk down the streets.
And as one you can hear, your heart starts to beat.
Even though the signs where there, Sweet innocence.
You didn’t know what to do.

On a winters day in December.
Space and time made sure it all just happened to remember.
you knew right then that your life was changing.
    Yeah, your life is changing.

'Cause you knew right then,  you would see her again.
With open hearts, you will find her there.
But do you know, Where you wanna go tonight.

As you walk down the streets.
And as one you can hear, your heart starts to beat.
Even though the signs where there, Sweet innocence.

As you walk down the streets.
And as one you can hear, your heart starts to beat.
Even though the signs where there, Sweet innocence
Now you know what to do.

As you walk down the streets.
And as one you can hear, your heart starts to beat.
Well even though the signs where there,
    Sweet innocence.

NOTES
This song was inspired by a story from my cousin a few years ago.
He was so young and insecure, he started to date a young women and it turns out that both of them were the same.
After a few dates they started a new love together.
That's why this song is for the new lovers out there.
As clumsy, sweet and innocent it all was, It inspired me to write Sweet Innocence.
